Miller, Bode
Bode Miller is one of the most well-known skiers of the 21st century. He was born on October 12, 1977, in Easton, New Hampshire. He grew up in the White Mountains in an off-grid household and spent many of his childhood days on Cannon Mountain. He began skiing competitively at age 11 and is well known for constantly experimenting and modifying his skis for enhanced performance.

Miller first joined the U.S. Ski Team in 1998 and competed in the 1998 Winter Olympics. At the 2002 Winter Olympics, he won two silver medals. Then, at the 2010 Winter Olympics, he won his first gold medal, as well as earning silver and bronze medals. He won the World Cup men’s overall championship in both 2005 and 2008 and has 32 World Cup victories, winning in every discipline.

Since retiring from skiing, Miller has established his own ski brand, Peak Skiing. Miller is revered for his unique skiing style, independent spirit, and perseverance.
